Your entry journey

Step 1

Review the categories

Download the entry brochure and read through all available categories. Identify those that best match your campaign or achievements.

Step 2

Gather your evidence

Strong entries are built on evidence. Collect your campaign results, data, media coverage, and supporting materials before starting.

Step 3

Complete the entry form

Fill in the online form clearly and concisely. Each section has a word limit — focus on clarity, impact, and measurable outcomes.

Step 4

Pay the entry fee

Entry fees are charged per category. Contact us for the current fee schedule. Payment via bank transfer or card.

Step 5

Await confirmation

You'll receive a confirmation email within 48 hours of submission. If not, check your spam or contact us directly.

Step 6

Shortlisting & ceremony

Shortlisted entrants are notified by email and invited to attend the MWA Gala Ceremony where winners are announced.

How to write a standout entry

Lead with your results

Judges want to see impact. Open each section with your strongest numbers and work backwards.

Be specific, not vague

"Significant increase in sales" is weak. "42% uplift in revenue over 6 months" is compelling.

Show your thinking

Explain not just what you did, but why. Strategic insight impresses judges.

Use data throughout

Back every claim with data — reach, engagement, sales, NPS, brand awareness uplift.

Keep it concise

Respect the word limits. Concise, punchy entries score better than rambling ones.

Enter multiple categories

One campaign can legitimately enter several categories. Bundle pricing makes this cost-effective.

QCan I enter more than one category?

Yes. You can enter the same campaign across multiple relevant categories. Bundle pricing applies for 3 or more entries.

QCan I nominate someone else?

Absolutely. Third-party nominations are welcome for individual categories. You'll need the nominee's contact details and their permission.

QIs there a deadline for entries?

Entry deadlines are announced in the official brochure and via our newsletter. We recommend entering early as late entries may not be accepted.

QWhat happens after I submit?

You'll receive a confirmation email. Our judging panel reviews all entries after the deadline closes. Shortlisted entrants are contacted directly.

QDo I need to attend the ceremony?

Attendance is not mandatory to win, but strongly encouraged. The ceremony is a premier networking event and celebrating in person is unforgettable.

QCan organisations outside Africa enter?

Yes, provided the campaign or individual's work was primarily focused on or delivered within African markets.
